Mr. Charles H. Shelton, age 75, of Lindale, and formerly of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Sunday morning, April 25, 2021.
He was born on January 21, 1946 in Cedartown, a son of the late Henry Ivy Shelton and the late Rosa Dial Shelton.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, William Golden; sisters, Rebecca Sandlin, Jackie Wheeler, Ann Jackson and Marilyn Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Glenn Shelton; sons and grandchildren, Brad Shelton ( Chaz and Braden), David Shelton & Michelle ( Carson, Kaylyn Clark & Justin), Chip Peace (Thaxton), Ryan Peace & Jenna (Aubree and Michael, Jr.), Matt Peace & Julie ( Riley), brother, Wayne Shelton and brother in law, James E. Smith, Sr. A number of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Shelton was cremated.
