Monday’s annual MLK Walk turned into a slow parade of vehicles that headed downtown on the afternoon of MLK Day, and ended with a ceremony at Holloway Park instead of the usual march down Main Street in Cedartown.
The annual service heard this year from the Rev. Bobby Sims of Friendship Baptist Church providing remarks, along with others celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in song.
Additionally, here are some photos from the day, with contributions in this slideshow from April Welch.
