The first-ever Christmas Decorating Contest in Rockmart have winners, and the Angels Among Us display ideas took on some different concepts this year.

Among the participants who won this year was first place for the Church Category for Rockmart First United Methodist with their display of the nativity.

In the non-profit category, first place also went to the Rockmart Boy Scouts Troop 17’s display – featuring scouts themselves – and second place winner Rotary Club of Polk County.

Third place went to the Cub Scouts Pack 76.

The first place winner for the commercial category this year was Now and Then of Rockmart, second went to Century Bank of Georgia, and third to C&B Construction LLC.

The city thanked all who participated in the display this year.
