
An Aragon man was jailed on an aggravated assault charge remains in custody on the single felony charge, according to Aragon Police.
On Wednesday, November 27 around 5 a.m. to investigate after a domestic argument between Michael Watts, 57, of an Aragon address, and the victim.
Per Aragon Police, Watts assaulted the victim when the argument turned physical and stabbed her twice – once in the neck and once in the abdomen.
AdventHealth Redmond EMS responded to the scene and carried the victim to the hospital, who was later released the same morning after being treated.
Watts remains in the Polk County Jail on a felony aggravated assault charge with a $20,000 bond.
