Aragon Acting Mayor Judd Fee qualified to keep the seat heading into 2024, and Donnie Canada wishes to continue being a City Council Member as both headed to the Board of Elections this morning.
Canada and Fee both filed their paperwork and paid their fees at the Board of Elections office this morning in Cedartown to continue serving the voters in the City of Aragon.
Fee as noted above is giving up his council seat and is running for Mayor on the November ballot.

Canada, who took over for Buddy Tanner in 2021, is now seeking a full term in the council seat.
That leaves Fee’s council seat and a special election for a two-year term in office to fill the unexpired term left over when former Council Member Daniel Johnson resigned in October 2022.
Fee and Canada are the first to get into the race for seats in Aragon during this week’s qualifying period.
Check back for more updates on candidates when available for qualifying this week.
