Several local businesses are offering deals this weekend for Back to School shopping that will also go toward supporting education.
A portion of the proceeds of sales this coming Saturday, July 24 at participating local businesses from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Rockmart will go toward a local school, according to a posting from the Polk County Chamber of Commerce announcement over the weekend.
Included in this year’s event are Now and Then of Rockmart, The Clay Birch, The Perch on Marble, Rockin’ Rooster & Happy Hen, What’s New Consignment, White Tulip Market and Williams Hair Company. Simply Staffing is also participating as a sponsor.
Additionally, anyone who visits the White Tulip Market in downtown Rockmart has the opportunity to get shots ahead of the start of the school year with a photographer on hand at the shop.
Take part in the Back to School Shop Hop this Saturday, and check back next week for photos from participating businesses.
