
Ms. Betty Lou Arp, age 64, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024.
Betty was born July 12, 1960, in Draketown, Georgia, daughter of the late Harvey Arp and Shirley Woody Arp.
Betty was a loving person. She loved family gatherings and cooking for the people she loved.
She was an avid Alabama football fan and enjoyed watching games with friends and family. Betty was always up for time spent talking with friends, riding around in the car, and visiting flea markets.
When she was able she loved to attend church at Grace Baptist Church. Her family was always sure of her love for them.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Sally Moyer, and great nephew, Mark Arp.
Betty is survived by her son, Chris Clonts (Heather Clonts); daughter, Ashley Goss (Kenneth Reeves, Jr.); grandchildren: Jaden Norton, Chris Norton, Aubrey Clonts, Lane Clonts, Alexis Norton, and Savannah Norton; great-grandchild, Rowan King; siblings: Terry Arp (Angie), Elaine Garner (Chad), Michael Arp (Renee); niece, Trista Garner; nephew, Trenton Garner; great nieces: Olivia Garner, Kopelyn Garner, Sadie Upton, Tatum Upton, Katelin Arp, and Heather Reeves; and great nephews: Michael Lamar Arp, Brent Arp, and Jimmy Ingram. Several aunts uncles and cousins also survive.
A private service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
