Halloween is going to come early for Camp Antioch (aka the Polk Haralson Christian Life Center) in their upcoming drive-thru Trunk-or-Treat celebration of fall.
Camp Antioch’s driveway will host the event set for the Saturday prior to Halloween on October 24 from 3 to 5 p.m.
Currently, the organization is seeking help and are specifically looking for churches to help by decorating vehicle trunks and truck beds with a Bible story or general Christian themes in the event.
Organizers said the that instead of trick-or-treaters getting out of the car to get a treat, the idea will be to hand out individually wrapped candy or pre-bagged treats with gloves to cars as they drive through the Camp Antioch driveway.
For more information about how to participate, contact Camp Antioch Executive Director Janice Stewart at 770-846-7760, or by email at cutlog@bellsouth.net. (***Updated to an email address that Ms. Janice will see.***)
