Local and area marching bands gathered at The Rock this past Saturday for the annual Yellow Jacket Classic Marching Band Competition, and the Jackets continued to show out their best during the annual event.

The band hosted Marist, McEacher, West Hall, Northwest Whitfield, Cedarotnw, Harlem, Wheeler, Paulding County, Southwest, Walker Valley, George Walton, Allatoona, South Paulding, Woodland and then took the field last to cap off the 2021 edition of the Yellow Jacket Classic after a fun day for all.

It was such a great day at The Rock as we hosted 14 high school bands in competition.

The Yellow Jacket Band worked hard all day, then put on an exhibition performance to close out the competition! We wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped make the Classic a success! To all of the participating bands, parent volunteers, and sponsors, Thank you!

It would not be near the success it was without all of your help. We would also like to extend a special shout-out to Jeff Bailey and Days Pre-Owned Automotive for donating the shirts for our student workers today, as well as Adam Blalock and the RHS Cross Country team for coming out to help us all day!
