Rockin Rooster & Happy Hen owner Helen Riley has always made a priority in her business to give back to the community. That’s why she’s been doing her part to provide help to anyone who needs it through Saturday Street Markets and by giving back to organizations with proceeds from sales on a regular basis.
As Riley – who announced that Rockin Rooster & Happy Hen is making a move earlier in the month on Facebook – gets ready to relocate, she’s still giving back and making sure that someone will be able to take over her mission in the storefronts near her current location.
And most recently, she made sure that a local family had everything they needed for a new addition.
Foster mom Brittany Williams left with her Jeep loaded with items earlier this week from donations and collections from the Street Market that is still running (through this afternoon.) That included clothing, bedding, toys, books, nursery items and a car seat.
Also, Riley announced even better news.
“We have a ministry that is going to take over once we move at the end of August,” she said. “I’m so thrilled to know this will continue because I know how important it is to our community. We need this.”
Rockin Rooster & Happy Hen will remain open at 401 N. Piedmont Ave. through August. Additionally, visit the new red house with clearance sales underway within from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 404 E. Elm. St., where all items are 50% at the moment.
