Mrs. Bobbie Dean Adkins Mobbs, age 86, of Douglasville, GA, passed away Friday November 8, 2024, at her residence with her loving family by her side. 

Mrs. Mobbs was born December 16, 1937 in Buchanan, GA, to the late William Alexander and the late Paralee Adkins.

She worked for Northside Hospital for more than 30 years as a Patient Care Technician and was well loved by her coworkers and patients alike. During her career with Northside Hospital, she received numerous awards, thank-you letters, and gifts for the care she gave to her patients. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mobbs is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Junior Mobbs; children, Warren Mobbs and Karen Mobbs; and siblings, Junior Adkins, Bonnie Matthews, and Mary Ann Daniel.

Mrs. Mobbs is survived by her children, Cindi Mobbs, Angeline Mobbs Dudley, and Selina Stubbs; brothers, William Adkins and Jackie Adkins; grandchildren, Joseph Luallen, Avery Stubbs, Shannon Mobbs, Jonathan Cook, Jessica Motes, and Robert Cook; great-grandson, Derek Cook; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Mobbs will be conducted Tuesday November 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Polk Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday November 12 from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Litesey Funeral Home.

The following will serve as Pallbearers: Joseph Luallen, Avery Stubbs, Derek Cook, Beth Herrington, Chris Mobbs, and Sammy Pointer.
