Update 9 p.m.:
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) was called in to investigate what happened to a woman who fell to her death in a field on Mullen Road this afternoon, according to Polk County Coroner Norman Smith.
Smith was only able to reveal that the woman was 26, and had no further comment at this time pending further information from federal authorities.
No additional details have yet been released about the death, which occurred near Skydive Spaceland on Grady Road in Polk County.

Emergency personnel have been called out to Mullen Road in the Grady Road area as reports of a skydiver death this afternoon.
Per emergency officials who wished not to be named while the situation is unfolding, a female skydiver died this afternoon during a jump.
Officials so far can only report that it was a female victim.
Several skydiving facilities operate in the area including out of Polk County’s airport. Skydive Spaceland is operated on Grady (edit) Road.
Polk Today has learned that Polk County Coroner Norman Smith has been dispatched to the scene in the Grady Road area.
