Georgia’s Country Vocalist of the Year brings big sound to Second Saturday show

Rockmart’s Second Saturday show over the past weekend brought out a crowd to enjoy some country music from local and area artists who have already made an impact on the industry.

Georgia’s Female Country Artist of the Year for 2023 Ashley Brooks headlined the February edition of the Second Saturday concert series started in recent months at The Rockmart Theatre, opening her performance with a favorite that all ages can enjoy:

Isaac Streetman opened the night’s entertainment. The longtime Polk County musician was an American Idol contestant who has found his home in country music over the past years.

Concert producer Rex Garner noted before introducing Streetman on Saturday that next month’s concert will be bringing together artists for a round of classic Country Music performances, with favorites from Merle, Willie, Waylon and Johnny and many other past and present artists.

The March show will be coming up on the 11th.
