Local Kiwanis members got a chance to hear from a national healthcare leader about what is happening with medicine in and all around Polk County during their latest meeting.
Cedartown Kiwanis members invited AdventHealth CEO Isaac Sendros to come and speak at their latest lunch session in recent days.
Sendros provided the group a presentation where among offering information about the latest in healthcare that AdventHealth is offering, he also talked about the importance of “care to create a life of whole health by healing their bodies, strengthening their minds, and lifting their spirits,” per a social media post from Cedartown Kiwanis on Friday.

Cedartown Internal Medicine and Family Care Clinic manager Tammy Jarrell set up the opportunity for Sendros to make a visit to the Cedartown group, and joining them was Rockmart City Councilman and AdventHealth Redmond EMS Director Marty Robinson from Rockmart’s Kiwanis as well.
