Cedartown Police were able to track down a suspect and victim this morning to the Quality Inn where an arrest was made after a report was taken that a woman was being held against her will.
Police arrested Donte Joshua Freeman of a Kennesaw address around 9:30 a.m. this morning, July 13 at the Cedartown hotel just hours after they initially received a report that Freeman was holding a woman against her will.
Cedartown officers initially responded around 5 a.m. to a third party complaint on Canal Street about the incident, and then began tracking the location of Freeman.
The woman in her early 20s was found safe at the hotel as well during the incident.
Freeman is in custody at the Polk County Jail. Cedartown Police report that a full list of charges will be made available shortly.
