A new owner for Rockmart’s McDonald’s location recently celebrated his takeover of the business with a ribbon cutting pout on by the Chamber of Commerce.

Jim Aaron officially took over last week as the new owner of the nationally-based chain located on Nathan Dean Parkway in Rockmart.

One of his first acts as a new owner? Joining the Polk County Chamber of Commerce, which organized the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday with local officials.

He also marked the occasion with another important first: a donation to Rockmart High School.

The Rockmart McDonald’s provided a $5,000 donation to the school during the Friday morning, August 2 event.

Aaron is a native of Rome and a 47-year vet of McDonald’s. He owns other locations in the area as well. He officially took over the McDonald’s on August 1.
