For several years, the Polk County Chamber of Commerce’s leadership program has been under hiatus status, but no more.

The Chamber is re-launching the program along with a slight rebrand, changing the name from LEAD Polk to Leadership Polk. The program for future business leaders in the community will begin October 4.

“We’re excited to be bringing the opportunity for local businesses to give their personnel the chance to grow in their leadership skills through this program,” Marianne Wood, Chamber Executive Director said. “Those who sign up and take part have a fantastic opportunity to learn from one the best in Steve Dennis, who will be heading up this year’s Leadership Polk class.”

A leadership guru, Dennis has shared the stage with personal development master’s such as John Maxwell and Jack Canfield. He is a founding member of The John Maxwell Team, an elite group of certified coaches and communicators mentored. In 2009, Steve founded Motivation Unlimited, an organization created to inspire positive change in the lives of people – personally and professionally.

He also leads Cartersville-Bartow and Rome-Floyd Leadership programs.
