The Polk County Coroner’s Office is still waiting for the results of an autopsy following the death of a Prior Station Road woman on Thursday afternoon.

Polk County Coroner Norman Smith reported that they do not yet know the cause of death for Susan Law, 68, after she was found in her yard deceased on the afternoon of February 22.

Multiple agencies – including the Georgia Bureau of Investigation – were called into look into the matter, but have not yet come to any conclusions they can report.

Law’s body was taken to the GBI Crime Lab for further examination following the discovery.

No information was immediately available about funeral services.
