Polk County Commission committee sessions that were scheduled for this week have been called off and will return next week, according to County Clerk Dawn Turner.

The Personnel, Public Works, Finance and Public Safety meetings were all called off after being on the calendar for Wednesday and Thursday this week.

The Public Works committee will gather next Thursday, July 23 at 4 p.m., and the Finance Committee has re-scheduled for Wednesday, July 22 at 1 p.m.

No information on rescheduling of personnel and public safety was immediately available.
