A local preacher is set to provide an opportunity for remembrance and repentance at the Polk County Courthouse complex on Friday as part of the nation’s remembrances of the September 11 attacks that occurred 19 years ago later this week.

The event for Cedartown at the courthouse will be held at noon on Friday and Jimmy Welchel will be representing Polk County in a statewide effort to remember the day with a them titled “A Call to Repentance” from Acts 3:19.

All are welcome to attend, but please remember social distancing guidelines and to wear a mask during the event.
