The latest Dominos location in Rockmart will be celebrating as they open up to serve the community with a grand opening event on December 2.

The upcoming Saturday event will begin at 12 p.m. and wrap up at 4 p.m. as the new store for the nationwide pizza chain opens in the same complex as Sidekicks and Linda’s Place at the corner of Prospect Road and Nathan Dean Bypass (on the eastbound side.)

Franchise owner Isaac Ventura said Saturday is the official opening date as he and the crew complete the final steps toward bringing Dominos Pizza to customers in the Rockmart area.

“I’m excited by this opportunity to get to serve customers in Rockmart with our quality pizza and other food available at Dominos starting on Saturday,” Ventura said.

The grand opening event on Saturday will include family-friendly opportunities for all ages including face painting, DJs playing throughout the four hour event, and entertainment for parents as well. Giveaways of pizza and wings and additional items for customers will be happening during the four-hour event as well.

“Everyone is welcome to come, and we hope customers will stop by and enjoy the fun,” he said.

Once its over, Ventura said that they’ll be back to regular business on Saturday evening just in time for the SEC Championship game orders to start.

Those interested can stop by the new Dominos at 462 Nathan Dean Bypass, Rockmart during the event or to grab an order during store hours following.

Starting on Saturday afternoon, customers can call 470-206-3200 to place orders. Online and app ordering are also available.

Once officially open, hours will be Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 a.m.
