Cedartown First Baptist brought out free food, inflatables and more fun for local youth on Sunday evening at Turner Street Park in a belated Block Party just ahead of the start of the 2023-24 School Year.

The Church’s postponed event on Sunday also coincided with a weekly round of cornhole games at Turner Street Park as well, providing opportunity for participants of both events to enjoy an unexpected cooler evening together.

The original date for the Turner Street Park Block Party was in late June, but stormy weather forced a change in their plans. Free hotdogs were provided by the church, and youth had the chance to play on inflatables, get their face painted and enjoy light arts and crafts during the event.

The church recently held their Vacation Bible School earlier this month, and have been hosting other outreach opportunities like a Fantasy Football League.
