The rain showers have blown off, and work is back at full speed on putting up the new Peek Park Playground in Cedartown.

Volunteers from all walks of life were out this morning to take part in the build to replace the former wooden structure brought down earlier this year. The new structure will include everything from hidey holes to zip lines.

The work continues through the rest of the weekend and officials are hoping to have it completed by Sunday.
