Make sure to take some time out this afternoon to stop by the Rockmart Art Gallery, where a lot of artwork, crafts and gifts for the holidays will be available starting at 2 p.m.

The Holiday Art Festival opens this afternoon and all three floors of the Rockmart Art Gallery will be open to participants with 70 artists represented this afternoon and evening, with live music and demos going on throughout the facility as well.

Additionally, Santa will be available during the event as well. He’ll be arriving at 4 p.m.

Art will be on display through December 22 for those interested in seeing the latest exhibit, but the Festival is ONE-DAY ONLY and gives those who attend the opportunity to buy local and handmade for holiday gifts this year.

The Rockmart Cultural Arts Center is located at 316 N. Piedmont Ave. Bldg. 300 (behind the library).
