
A Cedartown man who was on the run for multiple charges including a rape allegation is now in jail.
Quincey Brandon Dorsey, 36, of 208 Plantation Ave., Cedartown, was taken into custody on Thursday and remains in jail on felony and misdemeanor charges that were filed by the Polk County Police.
He was reported by PCPD to have entered a Bennett Road residence and during a burglary, and while in the midst of the crime was also accused of committing a rape back earlier in the month on November 3.
When police were searching for him at a Collard Valley Road address where he was staying, they also found additional drugs and paraphernalia within his room along with two others at the house.
Deputies from the Polk County Sheriffs Office caught up to Dorsey and served him with warrants on Thursday.
He remained in the Polk County Jail on felony charges of rape, burglary in the first degree, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime, along with misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and possession and use of drug-related objects.
No bond had yet been set in his case.
