The old Family Dollar is gone, the land is cleared and now the foundations are up and a new restaurant is on the rise in Cedartown.

Jack’s is coming this year to Polk County with the opening of the new location on North Main Street at Fairmount Street, and one of the first steps taken was to lay a concrete foundation and hook up electrical connections.

Jack’s is just one of several projects underway in Polk County and around Cedartown at the moment. Ellianos construction began earlier this month on North Main Street and the new Dollar General on Highway 278 across from Peach State Ford are the most recent new starts in the area.
