The Rockmart Lady Jackets Competition Cheer squad brought home a trophy that hasn’t been added to the case in quite some time: a region title.

Cheer team members went to Warner Robins over the weekend to take part in competition that saw them hit the top marks from judges and bring home a region championship. It’s the first time in 13 years Rockmart has won region at any classification level.

The Competition Cheer season was shifted due to the COVID pandemic and is wrapping up with state beginning on Feb. 15.
