The Cedartown Bulldogs got a win on Friday night as a longtime fixture on the sideline was honored for his decades on the air.

Halftime saw Bill Lundy, family and friends take to midfield at The Doc as the local attorney at Parker and Lundy got to listen to a brief round of highlights of his on-air commentary following big plays, and reminded of the many decades he’s spent with his hometown team cheering them on and letting fans listening in on the airwaves know what’s happening from the field.

Lundy, a former Bulldog and JSU player, has been providing his sideline broadcasting talents to WGAA for four decades (including three state title games.)
