An event over the weekend saw families come out to share food, have fun and even take part in art projects as Mosaic Place hosted the Parenting in Recovery Kickoff Celebration on Saturday, May 21.

The event provided everyone in the community the chance to enjoy time outdoors with their kid playing games and jumping around in bounce houses, but also indoors with an art project for families to take home as well.

Mosaic Place also provided participants with tote bags with goodies to take home, and free Kona shaved ice to go with hamburgers and hotdogs grilled fresh in front of the organization’s Cedartown headquarters.
