Mr. Albert Ross Farrister, age 86, of Tallapoosa, Georgia, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020.

Mr. Farrister was born July 19, 1934 in Calhoun Co. Alabama to the late Chester & Lee Berta Farrister, and was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church, He was also preceded in death by three brothers Joseph, James & Ralph Farrister.

Surviving are His wife Sherry Wilson Farrister, daughters Diane Thompson & Wendy New, brother Lloyd Farrister, sister Joyce Watson, four grandchildren and one great grandchild also surviving.

Funeral service for Albert Ross Farrister will be conducted Thursday December 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Layton officiating, interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at the Shiloh Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be J.R. Farrister, Shane Hulsey, Austin New, Brandon Austin, Curt Layton and Glen Farrister.
