Mr. Gary Lee Stafford, age 64, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. He was born on August 13, 1956 in Springfield, Missouri to his late parents; Royal Lee Stafford and Ellen Marie Lafferty Stafford. He had spent the greater part of his life in Davenport, Iowa and the past years in Rockmart, Georgia.

Gary worked for Nichols Truck Body Shop for several years and was Baptist by faith. In his free time, he loved to spend time outdoors and go fishing!

Mr. Stafford was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Stafford is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Riley Stafford of Rockmart, GA, daughter, Amy Stafford of Rockmart, GA, son, Bryan Stafford of Rockmart, GA, 8 grandchildren: Sarah Daysha, Mariah, Alex, Rebecca, Gabriel, Emma and Brendan, 3 brothers: Ron Stafford, Doyle Stafford, and Ken Stafford, 2 sisters: Angela Clark and Joanna Horton and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Gary Lee Stafford will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks are highly recommended.
