Mr. Winfred Lee Brannon, age 76 of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021. Mr. Brannon was born March 30, 1945, in Cullman Alabama.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1965. He retired from Bellsouth with 30 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 294 in Powder Springs, Ga and a member of the Cattleman’s Association.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years Mrs. Carol Crocker Brannon and two sons, Wendell Scott Brannon and ( Mamie) of Powder Springs Georgia and Winfred Lee Brannon Jr. of Cedartown, Ga. One Grandson Jon Brannon of Power Springs and Granddaughter Brittany Brannon of Rome. One sister Dorthy Nix and (William) of Cedartown.

Mr. Brannon was preceded in death by his father Floy Brannan and mother Flora Stephens Brannon. Brothers Wendell, Harold, Wayne and Floy Brannan Jr. also sister Margaret Beavers.

Funeral services for Mr. Brannon with be Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 2 O’clock in the chapel of Litesey funeral home. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon until the funeral hour. Interment will be at Pine Bower Church Cemetery.

Funeral services will be conducted by Jeff Johnson.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jon Brannon, Michael Brannon, Chris Nix, William Nix, Mike Holcombe and Jeff Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Brannon and Sam Matthews.
