Ms. Grace Pyles White

Ms. Grace Pyles White

Ms. Grace Pyles White, age 77, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.  She was born on March 25, 1943 in Cedartown, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late John C. and Flonnie Welchel Pyles.

To know her sweet smiling face, better known as Amazing Grace, was to love her. She was always happy and never let the trials of this world get her down.  She battled Alzheimer’s for 10 years. She may have forgotten our names, but she knew we were her people. She was a devout Christian and we have no doubt her homecoming was the best heavenly celebration. Anytime you had something going on in your life. She knew the exact scripture to look up and would pray for you.  She loved to paint and cross-stitch. She was also well known in her family for her homemade biscuits. Some of her favorite moments were spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to dance and make people laugh. What a beautiful soul she was. Mom, we love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.  A special thank you to Jennifer Ballard, the staff at Cedar Springs Health and Rehab, and Traditions Hospice for taking such great care of our Mom.

Ms. White is survived by her daughters, Lisa Burnett (Michael) and Trina Garcia (David); sons, Stanley Ayers (Vickie) and Terry Ayers (Drena); sister, Ann Bevels; grandchildren, Amanda Vuckovich, Danielle Hahn, Blake Milam, Haley Garcia, Megan Sisson, Cayce Ayers, Mandi Ledbetter, Jennifer Cross, and Chad Gravley; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Ms. White is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gerald Pyles.

A graveside service for Ms. Grace Pyles White will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at three o’clock in the afternoon at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor David Ogden officiating.
