One man remains in the Polk County Jail facing a number of charges and another is being sought for warrants according to officials from the Polk County Police Department during the early morning bust.
County Police arrested Trintis Dewayne Hodges of 153 Sycamore St., Rockmart today on multiple felony drug charges after police seized marijuana, methamphetamine, pills, cocaine, three handguns and $1,650 in cash in an incident at Blue Hole Road and Sycamore Street in the Van Wert community during the early morning hours in an incident that began just before midnight on Sunday night.
Police additionally are seeking Zyshonne Middlebrooks on warrants for charges involving the incident. Those with information about his whereabouts are encouraged to call 911, or the Polk County Police Department at 770-748-7331.
Hodges remained in jail with no bond set on felony charges of possession of tools for the commission of a crime, possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession with intent, possession of methamphetamine and possession with intent, possession of marijuana and possession with intent, possession of cocaine, and theft by receiving stolen property. He also had a misdemeanor charge against him of drugs not in their original container.
Rockmart Police were thanked for their assistance in the arrest.
