A man who was previously told to stay away from a residence tried to come back to get a ‘cup of coffee’ from a family member was arrested again over the weekend, according to reports.
Polk County Police booked Donald James Taschereau, 40, of an Aragon address, was arrested on Friday afternoon, January 3, 2025 following an incident where he showed up to an East Rome Highway property without being invited once again.
This was his latest trespass on the property where he was previously evicted. He told police was simply trying to get a cup of coffee from a relative, and knew he wasn’t supposed to be there.
Additionally, the relative told police they knew he wasn’t supposed to be there as well, and that Taschereau was not invited over.
Police took Taschereau into custody without incident. He remained in custody on a $500 bond for the misdemeanor charge as of this posting.
He had just been arrested on December 23, 2024 for the same charge, and was released following Christmas on a $900 bond.
