Polk County Police are seeking your help finding a woman who has been missing since Monday.

Polk County Police officials posted this morning that Denise Goforth, 61, has been missing since Monday and was last seen leaving Poteete’s Store on Morgan Valley Road on foot on Monday around 3 p.m.

Per officials, she his 5-foot-3 and no more than 125 pounds, and has brown eyes and dark-colored hair. She might have suffered a traumatic brain injury in her past that could be affecting her cognitive abilities, but have reported no other issues.

A Mattie’s Call has been issued for Goforth after she was missing for more than a day.

Police have searched the area where they believe she was last seen walking on Morgan Valley Road and have so far turned up no evidence of her whereabouts.

Those with information on where she might be or have seen her should immediately call 911 with information.
