PCPD: Woman making wide turn found with meth pipe during traffic stop

Tracy Lynn Wilson

A woman stopped for a suspended license was later found to be in possession of a meth pipe and other items while her vehicle was searched following her arrest, according to Polk County Police.

Tracy Lynn Wilson, 50, of a Rockmart address, was booked into custody on Tuesday evening, February 4 after being taken into custody on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges following the Maple Street at East Pine Street traffic stop.

Per the report, Wilson was behind the wheel when officers spotted her turning wide on Old Cartersville Road at College Street and followed her until she reached Maple and East Pine. Wilson when encountered by officers told them she didn’t have her license – later admitting it was suspended in October 2024 for a super speeder violation – and was taken into custody.

Amid the search of her vehicle following her arrest for driving on a suspended license, police found the meth pipe, a “little baggie of methamphetamine” and a pill believed to be Neurontin that wasn’t in its original container.

Wilson was booked into the jail on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor charges of possession and use of drug-related objects; drugs not in original container; sale, manufacture, deliver or possess dangerous drugs; failure to maintain lane and driving while license suspended or revoked.

As of this posting, Wilson remained in custody at the Polk County Jail waiting for bond to be set on the charges.
