The Rockmart Cultural Arts Center hosted a rare opportunity for local painters over the weekend during an event at the Slate Quarry on South Mable Street.

Saturday saw participants out at the quarry for a Plein Air event by RCAC, leading painters in putting scenery from the quarry down on canvas.

Paulson has an art exhibit ongoing at the Rockmart Art Gallery through June 30, which can be viewed during gallery hours. Additionally, Paulson will be leading a drawing class this Saturday, June 25, at the Rockmart Art Gallery.
