A pair who got into an argument that became heated over dinner ended up in handcuffs on Thursday afternoon, according to reports.
Per the reports, PCPD arrested Ricky Lee Messick, 58 and Nancy Lee Taylor, 66, both of an Old Cedartown Road address in Cedartown, were booked into custody on the afternoon of May 30 on a single charge each of misdemeanor disorderly house.
When officers arrived on Old Cedartown Road on Thursday afternoon, they found the two in the aftermath of a domestic dispute.
Taylor told police that she had refused to make Messick dinner, and an argument ensued that turned destructive when Messick was accused of throwing food out of the refrigerator and ripping her clothes.
The witness who called 911 backed up the story of the argument, per the report.
PCPD took both into custody on the disorderly house charges due to the fact that the pair had multiple previous calls made on them for their behavior.
Both were taken to jail without further incident.
Taylor and Messick both remained in custody on a $500 bond each.
