Polk County Farm Bureau awards 2022 Art Content winners

Local student artists got to take home cash prizes for their winning artwork submitted to the Polk County Farm Bureau art contest this year.

A trio of students won a combined $100 in prizes out of 12 who submitted artwork.

Farm Bureau Art Contest winners this year included Kaylina Dodd, who took home first place $50.

Eliza Stone earned a second Second place $25 prize, and Ah’Kieyah Sh’Dea Burge took third place and another $25 prize.

The Polk County Farm Bureau sponsors an Art Contest each year for high school students to enter. The theme of the art contest each year is to feature agriculture drawings in the area of Polk County or across the State of Georgia.

This year, 12 students from Rockmart High School submitted entries in the contest.

The Polk County Farm Bureau ensures that all judging is done on a equal basis, so they have folks outside of the local office who vote on the winners.

The PCFB gives money to the top three drawings.
