The Polk School District will hold Pre-K and Kindergarten registration dates for the 2022-2023 school year later this month.

These registration dates and times are for all elementary schools in the Polk School District, and will be held at the PSD Board of Education office, or the PCCCA-Rockmart Agricultural Facility at Rockmart High School depending on the dates provided.

For those needing to enroll their child into Pre-K, please note that your child must be four (4) years of age either on or before September 1, 2022 to attend pre-kindergarten. Space is also limited, so lottery drawings will be held at a later date if needed.

For kindergarten enrollment, your child must be five (5) years of age on or before September 1, 2022 to attend kindergarten. In addition, all current Pre-K students must register for kindergarten at this time.

State law requires specific documentation in order to register your child for Pre-K or kindergarten. Please see the attached flyer for more information on what to bring when registering your child. In addition, students must also be present at the time of registration.

The dates and locations for registration are as follows: beginning Monday, March 21 through Wednesday, March 23 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM at the PSD Board of Education Office in Cedartown, located at 612 College Street.

The second registration date begins Monday, March 28 through Tuesday, March 29 from 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM, located at Rockmart High School, 990 Cartersville Highway, in Rockmart.
