An Aragon man was jailed after he was accused of striking a victim while they were holding a child during a domestic violence incident, per Polk County Police
Justin Lee Walker, 35, of an Aragon address, was booked into custody on Sunday night, June 9, after he was accused by the victim of hitting them in the face while holding a child in their arms. The victim showed signs of a slap on their face when officers first began investigating the incident.
Walker told officers they had gotten into a verbal altercation because the victim wanted to leave the residence. He denied having struck the victim, reports stated.
Police took him into custody based on the initial evidence, and he was booked into the Polk County Jail on misdemeanor charges of cruelty to children in the third degree and battery.
He remained in the Polk County Jail as of this posting without bond set.
