Volunteer firefighters got to a house on Bethlehem Road quickly this afternoon after a fire caused moderate damage but didn’t go further than upstairs rooms, per officials this afternoon.

The Polk County Volunteer Fire Department was on the scene this afternoon and had a house fire out within five minutes of arrival around 3 p.m., but they were unable to keep parts of the home from being damaged.

No injuries were reported from the blaze.

The cause is unknown at this time.
