A Cedartown man died from injuries he sustained in a wreck on Collard Valley Road on the evening of July 4, per information provided so far from Polk County Police officials.
Kenneth Martez Johnson, 41, died of injuries in an area hospital according to the coroner’s office on Monday evening after he was reported to have wrecked on a motorcycle in the area of Collard Valley Road and Old Collard Valley road around 8 p.m.
Polk County Police information was limited to what was reported in their aid with the wreck. Georgia State Patrol has been sought for additional details, but have not yet gotten back with additional information.
Johnson, known as “Tez,” was born in Rome but lived here in the Cedartown area. He was a tattoo artist, singer and songwriter.
He was survived by his wife Jenna and 11 children. Services are being held this Friday at the Cedartown Church of God, per his obituary at Smith and Miller Funeral Home.
