
A man pushing a bicycle just before midnight on Tuesday was found by officers to have a warrant, and when search police also located drugs, per the Polk County Police.
Reports stated that Jason Lance Glenn, 41, of a Cedartown address, was taken into custody around 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9 on several charges after an eagle-eyed officer spotted him pushing the bicycle up North Main Street in Cedartown.
The officer recognized Glenn and remembered he was being sought for a warrant.
When the officer stopped Glenn, he ran information on him and got a return for the active warrant.
Ahead of a search of his person, Glenn admitted having methamphetamine and loaded syringes on his person.
Police found the meth in a cigarette pack, and the syringes in his backpack.
Glenn was taken into custody on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug-related objects. He also faces a misdemeanor theft by taking warrant as well.
Glenn remained in the Polk County Jail with a $9,000 bond set.
