
A Cedartown-area man was jailed and remains in custody after being charged with a misdemeanor for his boisterous and drunken behavior over the weekend.
Jeremy Shane Currie, 41, of a Cedartown-area address, was booked into custody early Monday morning, December 2, following the second visit to his residence for being disorderly and causing problems in the household with family members inside.
Per the report, police arrived the first time late Sunday night, December 1 after police confronted him for his “drunken and obnoxious” behavior. After being warned to calm down and call it a night, officers left only have to return just over an hour later on Monday morning to find him doing the same thing and preventing family members from sleeping.
PCPD charged Currie with disorderly house upon the second visit and took him onward to the Polk County Jail without further incident.
Currie remained in custody on a $250 bond as of this posting.
