
The Polk County Sheriffs Office on Wednesday booked a man into custody on warrants stemming from an August 2020 domestic incident where he fled the scene, according to a Polk County Police report.
The Sheriffs Office booked James Tanner Harmon, 23, of a Rockmart address, on a pair of warrants from a August 2020 incident reported by the Polk County Police.
Per the report from three years ago, Harmon fled the scene of a domestic incident involving a 68-year-old victim (at the time) that got physical at a Rockmart-area residence.
On Wednesday evening, the Sheriffs Office caught up with Harmon and took him into custody on a felony warrant for cruelty to persons 65 or older, and a misdemeanor charge of battery under the family violence act.
Bond was set at $6,000.
