
An Aragon man was booked into the Polk County Jail on Monday after an anonymous caller told police where to find him and he attempted to run on foot, according to Polk County Police reports.
PCPD reported that Mason Alexander Mulkey was arrested on an obstruction charge and a warrant for contempt of court when they found him on Prospect Road on around 11 a.m. on September 25.
Reports stated that when officers approached Mulkey in a vehicle, he came up to the window then attempted to flee on foot.
“I advised Mr. Mulkey to stop running,” the report stated. “After a brief foot pursuit, I caught Mr. Mulkey, assisted him to the ground and placed him into custody.”
PCPD charged Mulkey with obstruction of law enforcement officers for the foot chase.
He remains in custody on a $4,708 bond.
