A Rockmart woman was jailed on Monday and remains in custody after witnesses told police that she had an episode of “erratic and violent behavior,” per a report.
Brandy Nicole Bradford, 40, of a Rockmart address, remains in custody on the single misdemeanor charge of resisting police officer. Her bond was set at $500.
Reports stated that Bradford got upset during a trip to a residence where a van was parked with some of her items inside.
Police stated that she began to “run around cussing and threatening to kill herself” and when an officer arrived on scene, “came into my door and stuck her head inside yelling.”
Bradford attempted to walk away when ordered to come back, and was detained after she tried to run, and got out of her handcuffs to struggle with the officer.
Another officer came to help and were able to get Bradford into custody and onward to the Polk County Jail on Monday evening.
