
A camper reported stolen got a Cedartown woman charged for theft on Thursday, according to Polk County Police reports.
Juanita Michelle Barker, 52, of a Cedartown address, was taken into custody on Thursday just before 12:30 p.m. after she was reported as the main suspect in the theft of a Starlight camper.
Police did not have a fully detailed report to explain all the details, but noted the camper was worth $650.
A bill of sale written up by Barker, along with “marijuana and narcotic equipment” were also listed in the report as being involved in the incident. No charges were filed for any drug possession.
Barker remained in custody as of this posting on a $2,000 bond on the single misdemeanor charge of theft by deception.
